不是周树人的树人。
He works with humble, ready-made materials: fragments cut from books or maps, discarded photographs or books, and twigs. He transforms these surprisingly, humorous, or pathologically constructed fragile worlds of relevance. He revisited Old Master content and classic modernist forms: paintings of floating branches reimagined 16th-century religious paintings, or twisted in abstract gestural displays. Sculptures of saints cut from tree branches are made every day.Twisting in pain or ecstasy, these weak little figures, and with all our energy and sensuality, our hubris and delusions, come together as human portraits.
