The dull and rainy weather makes it hard for me to believe today marks the summer solstice. I think the temperature might hit a record low for June (it’s a personal opinion). When I was in senior high school, the summer and winter solstice are the two days that I most-expected, since the winter solstice sees the longest night of a year, so that I can sleep for longer hours, (At that time, sleep was precious and I seldom had sleeping problems. It’s often the case that I could fall asleep the minute I lay down), while the coming of the summer solstice was a strong indicator of high summer. The abnormal weather condition we are experiencing raises my concern over global warming.
