Maid of Athens, ere we part,
Give, oh, give back my heart!
Or, since that has left my breast,
Keep it now, and take the rest!
Hear my vow before I go,
Zoe uml; mou sas agapo.
By those tresses unconfined,
Wooed by each Aegean wind;
By those lids whose jetty fringe
Kiss thy soft cheeks' blooming tinge;
By those wild eyes like the roe,
Zoe uml; mou sas agapo.
By that lip I long to taste;
By that zone-encircled waist;
By all the token-flowers that tell
What words can never speak so well;
By love's alternate joy and woe,
Zoe uml; mou sas agapo.
Maid of Athens! I am gone:
Think of me, sweet! when alone.
Though I fly to Istambol,
Athens holds my heart and soul:
Can I cease to love thee? No!
Zoe uml; mou sas agapo
这首诗是著名诗人拜伦写的《雅典的少女》,把少女换成少男,用在耀耀身上,最恰当不过。

Fashion Highlight |Raf Simons Spring 2002 Collection
Woe Onto Those Who Spit On The Fear Generation... The Wind Will Blow It Back:2002年,“恐惧一代”仍然是他最难忘,最有影响力的作品之一。

“Though death be poor, it ends a mortal woe.”
Richard II, son of the Black Prince and grandson of Edward III, was the last king of the House of Plantagenet.
He ascended to the throne at the age of 10 in 1377, while his royal uncle, John of Gaunt, duke of Lancaster, acted as regent. John was the staunchest and most loyal supporter of Richard, yet his growing political clout eclipsed that of the young king, which fuelled speculation.
When Richard was 14, one of the greatest peasant revolts in English history broke out under the leadership of Wat Tyler. Terrified, Richard even fled to the London Tower for refuge. But as the violence peaked with Tyler’s sudden death, the young king dashed out into the crowd and asked the peasants to bow down before their anointed king and God incarnate. Miraculously, the peasants really bought his story and surrendered. After that, young Richard grew increasingly convinced that he had God on his side and everything that he did was God’s will. Hence, he armed himself with heavenly pride rather than human bravery.
As old John of Gaunt died in 1399, Richard changed John’s son, Henry Bolingbroke’s banishment into a permanent one and disinherited him, wanting to confiscate the property of the duke of Lancaster. Livid, Henry Bolingbroke came back to England and gathered the horrified aristocrats to fight against the brutal king. Finally, he deposed Richard that year and became Henry IV, the first king of the House of Lancaster. Richard was sentenced death the next year when some of his loyalists attempted to usurp Henry’s reign.
Alack, how long a time lies in such little words! In Shakespeare’s play, history never frays.
