母亲节要到了,我想到了一本书:《成为母亲的选择》。这本书可以说是很另类,因为大部分的受访者们颠覆了传统“母亲”的形象——她们是后悔成为母亲的人们。当社会主流文化将母亲抬升为博爱慈祥,任劳任怨的圣职的时候,成为了母亲的女性似乎只有笑意盈盈手捧鲜花立于神位这一种选择。然而她们的内心深处是否存有不同的观点?无人在意。书中的女性们来自各行各业,由于不同的理由或原因成为母亲。“后悔”这一种情绪倒并不是说她们不爱自己的孩子,而是她们意识到,如果没有孩子,她们的人生会拥有另一种可能。我觉得这样的反思和发声非常难得,也非常的重要。因为有这样的声音,母亲这个形象才更为真实立体,女性(尤其是“母亲”)的社会困境和诉求才更有可能被重视,而非掩饰。母亲不是天然的强者,不应当羞愧于自己的脆弱和无奈,当养育成为负担或引发焦虑和压力的时候,呼吁女性生育的一切人或力量都应该站出来支持和帮助母亲们。否则,一味只对母亲唱赞歌的社会风气只能是另一种充满虚伪意味的压迫。#悦悦读#
无论生活给予我们什么,都希望向阳而生,今天不容易,明天会更难,后天终将美好。心情就像衣服,脏了就拿去洗洗,晒晒阳光自然就会蔓延开来,阳光那么好何必自寻烦恼。不要沮丧,不必惊慌,做努力爬的蜗牛或坚持飞的笨鸟,我们试着长大,一路跌跌撞撞,然后遍体鳞伤。坚持着,总有一天,你会站在最亮的地方,活成自己曾经渴望的模样。读书不是为了记住,而是为了让人干净。一本书可能读了就忘,就像竹篮打水,但你一直读下去,竹篮就一次次被放进水里,时间长了,竹篮就变得干净。看似空空,内在的快乐不足为外人道也。

A scholar in Chu who happened to read a book.
楚国有个书生偶然读到一本书。
The book recorded: When a mantis hunts cicadas, it covers itself with a leaf, making it invisible to other insects.
书中记载:螳螂在捕蝉时用树叶遮住自己,其他昆虫就看不到它了。
Whoever gets that leaf will become invisible to other people.
谁能得到螳螂遮身的这片树叶,那别人也就看不见他了。
Believing this true, the scholar ran to a tree and looked up.
书生信以为真,于是跑到一棵树下仰望。
Finally he saw a mantis hiding under a leaf, preparing to catch cicadas.
终于看到一只躲在树叶下的螳螂正准备捕捉蝉。
He quickly picked up that leaf, but it fell down and got mixed with fallen leaves, making it unrecognizable.
他连忙把那片树叶摘下来,不料树叶掉了下来,跟地上的落叶混在一起无法辨认了。
He had to take all leaves back home and try them one by one.
他只好把所有的树叶都带回家,一片一片的试。
He covered eyes with each leaf and asked his wife, "Can you see me?"
他把树叶遮住眼睛,问妻子:“你能看见我吗?”
His wife always replied, "I can see you!"
他的妻子总是说:“看得见!”
Later, his wife got annoyed by his repeated questioning and casually replied,"I can't see you!"
后来妻子被他问烦了,随口答了一句:“看不见!”
He was very happy and immediately took the leaf to the market.
他非常高兴,马上带着这片树叶去了集市。
He covered his eyes with it and tried to steal from others, but he was caught red-handed.
他用树叶挡住自己的眼睛,去偷别人的东西,结果被人家当场抓住了。

Blocking his own eyes indeed can't see others, but it don't mean that others couldn't see him!
挡住自己的眼睛确实看不到别人,但不代表别人也看不见他!
