Chronovore/无面怪/时间吞噬者 原本是未完成的大事件《超等危机》里的boss
在近日的substack提问箱环节，莫里森答复了网友（卡莱）关于《超等危机》的问题：
In our story, the Chronovore has taken a huge chunk out of the early 20th century. A whole year is gone, and history is hurtling towards a temporal abyss. Superman takes it upon himself to build a bridge across the hole in time, a bridge made of specific events that he and the other heroes must bring about, no matter how dangerous or unlikely they seem. Each issue was a number 1, and each introduced a new take on a DC character or team like Challengers Beyond the Unknown, JL8, or a Manhunter book featuring J'onn J'onnz.
That was the original Hypercrisis pitch on my return to DC in 2003.
原来莫里森在2003年提交过一个DC大事件，叫《超等危机》，用于解释为什么DC宇宙的很多时间线对不上，莫里森解释说，当初设计了一个吞噬时间的反派叫Chronovore，它吃掉了20世纪初的一大块时间，为此，超人自告奋勇在时间残缺上架了一座桥，这座桥由他和别的英雄必须实现的特定大事件组成，每一期的刊号都是第1期，每一期都引入超人需要合作的角色或团队的新形象
而这个Chronovore你们并不陌生，它就是《全明星超人》里的无面怪，《全明星超人》当初由于特殊原因不得已才以异世界发布的，所以合理推测完整的剧情（前提是全明星超得是主世界连载，并且百万超不再是全明星超唯一结局），就是Chronovore作为boss先吃掉了一大块时间造成DC危机，被超人与众英雄联手挫败，逃回了过去某时间点，被超人纵队捉拿，路上慌不择食吃掉了肯特爸爸生命最后的3分钟…形成了闭环
