With her simple clothes, swept back hair and classic black sunglasses, this model is the epitome of Parisian china. The stripy black and white T shirt shown is reminiscent of Jean Seberg’s in Breathesss, and the simple style of Leather tote, “I don’t like the world fashion”, I say I design bags, says agne’s b. Her neutral colored wardrobe staples: crisp white fabric shopping bag, plain knitwear and pared down tailoring have survived precisely because they pay very little attention of fashion. She worked as a junior fashion editor at Elle magazine in France, and as a stylist at Cacharel and Dorothe’e Bis. She opened her first shop in 1975, during and eccentric era of casual fashion bagsand platform shoes. From the outset her designs, based on utilitarian clothing, such as workman’s blue overalls and fashion backpack, found a place as fashion’s antidote. She has received much recognition including the Legion d’honneur.
