This will provide a great deal of convenience to tourists who may have difficulty climbing the mountain.
Built inside the woods and rocks of Baiyun Mountain, the escalators stretch all the way to the Moxing Summit (摩星岭). They will be open to the public on February 5 after a year and a half of construction.
The facilities located approximately 150 meters ahead of the south gate of Moxing Summit enable visitors to reach the summit from the south gate in just five minutes, a significant improvement from the previous 15-minute climb up of steep stone stairs.
The ascending journey consists of two sections of escalators that can lift tourists up 26 meters, as well as a 150-meter-long walking trail. From there, visitors can enjoy a bird's-eye view of Baiyun New City and the grand sunset view of the city.
Opening hours of the facilities: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Moxing Summit ticket price: 5 yuan/adult (free to use escalators)

Importance of the APEC Forum for Peru
• Peru's membership in APEC since 1998 represents a significant milestone for Peruvian foreign policy, as it allowed us to consolidate our international policy projection in the Asia-Pacific region, which is the most innovative, dynamic, and fastest-growing region in the world.
• APEC strengthens our ties with member economies, providing Peruvian authorities, especially the presidency and state ministers, the opportunity to interact on equal terms with their foreign counterparts from 20 economies. Likewise, being an APEC member has significantly contributed to integrating Peruvian companies into regional and global value chains, as well as the internationalization of SMEs.
• According to ComexPerú, since 1998, the trade between Peru and APEC member economies has grown annually at a rate of 12%. In 2022, Peru exported over USD 42 billion and imported more than USD 40 billion within the APEC region, representing 67% of Peru's global trade.
• APEC membership has provided the opportunity to negotiate free trade agreements with ten significant APEC economies, including Australia, Canada, Chile, China, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, and Thailand. Similarly, we are partners with four additional APEC economies thanks to the CPTPP: Brunei, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. Due to these FTAs, approximately 1,500 SMEs and 2,200 MSMEs trade more efficiently with the Asia-Pacific region.
• In 2022, 49.1% of the tourists arriving in Peru were from APEC economies. For APEC PERU 2024, approximately 10,000 delegates from APEC economies will participate. During the APEC Peru presidency, host cities will receive revenues of around USD 20 million through accommodation, food, transportation, tourism, and other spending. According to PROINVERSION, by 2022, Peru had at least USD 12.193 billion in investments from the APEC region. Additionally, according to PROINVERSION, 3 out of every 10 dollars of foreign direct investment come from APEC economies.
