Smith applies the subjectivity of language to the objecthood of the black tower, converting it from a banal piece of industrial architecture to a cipher of paranormal potential. Justapositioning the abstract image/colour with his description, The Black Tower, like other of his works, always explore the relationship between image and language, their ambiguity, and their abilities of documentation and deception.

去年12.7编导考试前一天看到的特别的天空
因为只在学校里临时学了大概四天
所以特别紧张[失望]我的故事处女作居然是在统考上写的我真的太虎了[跪了]最后的成绩还不错吧我觉得(位数930/6500)我很满足了哈哈哈哈哈哈毕竟只是临时去考的我们努力又可爱的小孩一定会成功的!nike小勾勾会保佑我们@R1SE-何洛洛 @R1SE-焉栩嘉 两个小朋友把我的好运也给你们
