As we keep growing, we roll on with our experience of all sorts of great things that rejoice us, most of which are consumed and afterwards normalized, inextricably pushing our threshold for attaining further happiness.
One possible solution might be constantly reminding ourselves, in the daily life, to lower some of our expectations so that once they are met, happiness naturally arises.
