#考考文博英语时刻# Jade deer
Jade deer picked up a minimalistic style during the Shang and Zhou periods, primarily in the form of plaques and less carved in the round. The artisans deliberately highlighted the antlers, ears, and eyes and glossed over other body parts, leaving only their contours. If the deer has antlers, they would usually be branch-shaped or split-up. Their eyes are either small round eyes, “臣” eyes, or diamond-shaped eyes, etc., and most of them are done by incised carving. The deer’s bodies are often left undecorated, with only a few carved lines that demarcate the bodies and the limbs. (Image credit: The Baoji Bronzeware Museum)[给你小心心][给你小心心][给你小心心]
