After Passing Civil Exam
By MENG Jiao (Tang Dynasty)
Tr. JOHN ZHAO
The hapless days of yore I will no longer say;
Overexcited I think boundlessly today.
In the vast spring wind, proud I let my steed gallop ;
I've seen all flowers of Chang'an Town for a day.

Gốc:
Dịch by Mas meo meo với trình QT:

A Reply to An Ode to Old Age by Carefree
Who's not afraid of getting old?
An aging man nobody will behold.
Emaciated, his waist is getting thin for his belt.
Hair falling out, emptiness in his hat is felt.
To preserve his eyesight he has to read less,
To extend his life moxibustion he does profess.
Experienced, the world he can better understand,
And he knows people like the palm of his hand.
On second thoughts, an old man is meant
To get rid of his worries and feel content.
The sun that sets before stars rise
Can still light up the evening skies.
